Job description:
- Provide customer support by phone as the primary contact for inbound customer issues.
- Escalate technical product-related issues to the Product Support department.
- Handle and process a high volume of consumer inquiries related to FIS products and services, ensuring resolution of a targeted percentage.
- Troubleshoot problems, identify root causes, and apply tools/resources effectively for resolution.
- Escalate unresolved problems within a reasonable time and follow up on escalated cases with coaching and mentoring.
- Track and document inbound support requests with proper notes on customer problems/issues.
- Update customer information and ensure accurate data entry.
- Meet job standards such as quality benchmarks, adherence to schedule, and average handle time (AHT).
- Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced Customer Service Associates as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED qualification.
- Knowledge of company products, services, and operations to resolve inquiries effectively.
- Strong customer service skills that build high satisfaction levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in computer navigation and operation.
- Effective interpersonal skills with sensitivity when dealing with others.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
