Job Overview: Enrollment Counselor (Remote - India)
As an Enrollment Counselor, you will play a crucial role in guiding prospective students through the enrollment process for Coursera’s degree programs. You’ll engage with potential learners, understand their aspirations, and help them choose the right online degree.
This role requires strong communication skills, sales acumen, and a passion for education. You’ll connect with students via phone, email, and chat, helping them navigate course options, admissions processes, and career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Engage & Qualify Leads: Connect with prospective students, understand their needs, and assess their suitability for Coursera’s programs.
✔ Counsel & Inform: Provide insights into course curricula, faculty, career prospects, pricing, and financing options.
✔ Guide & Convert: Address concerns, highlight program benefits, and drive enrollments to meet/exceed targets.
✔ CRM Management: Maintain and track lead interactions in the CRM system to optimize engagement.
✔ Achieve Targets: Meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly enrollment goals.
✔ Build Relationships: Establish trust with students and provide personalized guidance.
Required Qualifications
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
✅ Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
✅ Proven sales experience in education, admissions, or a related industry.
✅ Understanding of the EdTech industry and online learning landscape.
✅ Tech-savvy with proficiency in CRM tools and data management.
✅ Strong ability to actively listen, empathize, and influence decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
➤ Prior experience in education sales, admissions counseling, or student support.
➤ Familiarity with Coursera’s courses and online learning programs.
➤ Experience in a target-driven sales environment.
➤ Salesforce experience is a plus.
